Kid Photo Tips

Did you know I absolutely love photographing families? It doesn't matter if the family is old or young. This is my favorite. As a mom and former prek teacher I feel right at home with kids in the photo shoot.
Here are some tips: -make sure their bellies are full! Let's face it...who is in a good mood when they are hungry?
-make sure they are rested. Just as they are in a rough mood when they are hungry they will also have a hard time with photos if they are sleepy.
-let them be a kid! If they want that goofy toy...let them have it! If it makes them happy, I promise it will be worth it.
-if they aren't feeling the pose then let's move on. Please don't feel pressured because they aren't doing what I asked.
-if they aren't responding to any of the photo fun let me step in with my "teacher voice". Kids are always better behaved with someone other than parent/grandparent.
-BRIBE THEM! Need I say more? Ice cream, fruit gummies, goldfish, puppy, Disney World...bribery always works.
I hope you find this post valuable. If so, please let me know! Also, feel free to join in with your own tips! I would love to hear what you have to say.
